Additional Details

  • Bring the 5-star restaurant to your kitchen! For a much sought-after delicacy, simply season, bake and spread bone marrow on toasted bread. Or, make your own bone broth!

  • Bone marrow has a creamy, slightly nutty, savory flavor. Each bone is center cut.

  • Each order is packed with dry ice so that it stays completely frozen while en route to your doorstep.

How To Prepare

  • Thaw your marrow bones in the refrigerator overnight (8-12 hours) before cooking. To speed up the thawing process, place the bones in a leak-proof plastic bag and submerge them in cold water.

  • Once thawed, place the marrow bones upright on a baking sheet with tin foil and roast for 15 minutes at 450° F. After 15 minutes, scoop the marrow out and spread on toast topped with flaky salt.

  • For bone broth, combine water, your favorite veggies, garlic, and a few roasted marrow bones in a pot. Let the mixture simmer for around an hour, then strain the mixture to separate the solids. Enjoy!

FAQs

FAQs

What does “center cut” mean?
+
-

Center cut refers to the way the bone is cut. With our Center Cut Marrow Bones, the bone marrow is protected on all sides by a bone.

Can I eat the bone marrow directly?
+
-

Absolutely! Roasted marrow is edible, buttery, and rich in flavor. It’s often spread on bread or added to dishes like risotto or mashed potatoes.

How long can I keep my marrow bones in the freezer?
+
-

All of our products will stay good in the freezer for several months. However, for the best taste and texture, we recommend enjoying them within 2-3 months.

Can marrow bones be used for bone broth?
+
-

Yes! They’re excellent for broth or stock. Simmer for 12–24 hours to extract the rich collagen and nutrients from both marrow and bone. Learn a broth recipe here.
