Beef stroganoff is a family favorite for good reason—it’s easy to make, sticks to your ribs, and is tasty when reheated for leftovers. Save time by using a pre-made stroganoff seasoning packet.

  • 2 lbs Grass Run Farms Chuck Arm Roast, cut into 1 ½-inch cubes
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 1 8 oz package of sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 8 oz beef broth
  • 1 packet pre-packaged beef stroganoff seasoning
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 16 oz egg noodles



  1. Place beef chuck roast in a large slow cooker. Season with minced garlic, salt, and pepper. 
  2. Add beef broth, chopped onion, and mushrooms, then cook on low for 7-8 hours or until the meat is fork-tender.
  3. After 6 hours in the slow cooker, add the stroganoff seasoning packet and stir in the light sour cream.
  4. At 7-8 hours, shred the meat. Then, add the dry noodles and cook on high for another 30 minutes or until the noodles are soft. 
  5. Serve and enjoy.
