Additional Details

  • For many, the T-Bone is the first steak they learn to recognize. What keeps connoisseurs coming back is the decadent flavor retention.

  • Accommodate a range of palates. For those calling for tenderness, cut from the Tenderloin side. For those desiring bold flavor, cut from the Strip side.

  • Each USDA Prime T-Bone is wet-aged for 21 days on average before being trimmed and individually vacuum sealed, resulting in an extremely tender and flavorful cut.

  • All aging, processing, trimming, and weighing takes place in our USDA facility located in Northfield, MN.
  • Each order is packed with dry ice so that it stays completely frozen while en route to your doorstep.

How To Prepare

  • Thaw your T-Bone Steak in the refrigerator overnight (8-12 hours) before cooking. To speed up the thawing process, place the vacuum-sealed steak in a leak-proof plastic bag and submerge it in cold water.

  • Cook to an internal temperature of 140° F for medium rare. More or less depending on your desired temperature.

  • Grill, sear, or roast. Cut from the Tenderloin side for a more tender cut; flip it around and cut from the Strip Steak side for a slightly more flavorful experience.

  • Note: Consuming raw or undercooked beef may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

FAQs

FAQs

Is it possible to make an Air Fryer T-Bone Steak?
+

Yes, you can. After brushing the steak with oil, cook it in your air fryer at 400° F for 4-5 minutes, depending on your desired doneness level. Pan sear it on each side for one minute to give it a crisp finish.

How to cook T-Bone Steak in a frying pan?

Preheat your pan to medium-high heat and add your oil of choice. Season both sides of your cut and let it sizzle for 4-5 minutes. Flip and sizzle for another 4-5 minutes for a medium-rare T-Bone Steak.

+
-

The T-Bone Steak has four primary parts: the backbone (the top of the “T”), the finger bone (the bottom of the “T”), the Tenderloin, and the Strip Steak.
