Additional Details

  • Brazilians sometimes refer to Picanha as the "culotte" or "rump cap," a standout in their national cuisine, internationally known for its juicy texture and rich taste.

  • Inspired by Brazilian tradition, this Picanha is best enjoyed churrasco-style. Simply season with coarse salt and grill to showcase its natural flavors and succulence.

  • This 3-4lb cut is not only all-natural, but also a product of humane farming practices.

  • Each order is packed with dry ice so that it stays completely frozen while en route to your doorstep.

How To Prepare

  • Thaw your Picanha in the refrigerator overnight (8-12 hours) before cooking. To speed up the thawing process, place the vacuum-sealed Picanha in a leak-proof plastic bag and submerge it in cold water.

  • Picanhas are traditionally grilled for maximum flavor.

  • Cook to an internal temperature of 140° F for medium rare. More or less depending on your desired temperature.

  • Note: Consuming raw or undercooked beef may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
