  • Taken from the belly section called the "plate," just behind the front leg, the Hanger Steak is a long, thin cut with a generous surface area. This makes it easy to attain an even cook and promises even more flavor absorption.

  • Coming in twos, our Hanger Steak is perfect for sharing light portions, or enjoying a hearty meal on your own.

  • Each Wagyu Hanger Steak is wet-aged for a minimum of 30 days before being cut, trimmed, and individually vacuum sealed in our USDA facility, located in Northfield, MN.

  • Each order is packed with dry ice so that it stays completely frozen while en route to your doorstep.

How To Prepare

  • Thaw your steak in the refrigerator overnight (8-12 hours) before cooking. To speed up the thawing process, place the vacuum-sealed steak in a leak-proof plastic bag and submerge it in cold water.

  • Cook to an internal temperature of 140° F for medium rare. More or less depending on your desired temperature.

  • Note: Consuming raw or undercooked beef may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

While grilling and pan-searing are great options, Sous Vide Hanger Steak is a great way to avoid overheating your cut.
