How To Prepare

  • Thaw your Italian Sausage in the refrigerator overnight for 8-12 hours. For a quicker thaw, place the sausage in a leak-proof plastic bag and submerge it in cold water.

  • Ground Italian sausage is best prepared in a skillet. Cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon or spatula as it browns. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent sticking.

  • Cook to a minimum internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) before serving.
