Here's a simple recipe that will satisfy everyone’s cravings with its rich cheese combination and chicken or beef protein options.

Flat Top Grill Quesadilla with chicken

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your flat top grill to medium heat.

  2. Season your chosen protein with salt and pepper. Cook on the grill until fully cooked, then remove from the heat and let rest.

    1. If using chicken breasts, cook on the grill until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached, and shred your chicken using two forks.

    2. If using ground beef, cook until the meat is brown and an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.

  3. While your protein is cooking, add your preferred high-heat oil to another area of your flat top before sautéing sliced bell pepper and onion until they are tender and caramelized.

  4. Place a tortilla on the grill and top half of it with your shredded cheese, grilled chicken or ground beef, and sautéed veggies.

  5. Fold the empty side of the tortilla over the ingredients and flatten it with a spatula.

  6. Cook until the cheese has melted and the tortilla is golden brown, then flip the quesadilla and cook the other side until it’s crispy and golden brown.

  7. Remove from the grill and repeat with remaining tortillas and ingredients.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

This quesadilla recipe is an easy and customizable option for game day cooking. With tender chicken thighs or beef options, rich cheese, and savory sautéed veggies, this recipe is sure to be a fan favorite. Time to fire up the grill and enjoy a delicious game day treat!
