Florida Stone Crab Claws

Stone Crab provides a sweet, buttery taste and tender bite. 

In a 3lb order, you will receive between 12 and 15 claws. Stone Crab Claws are the perfect appetizer, and we recommend between 6 and 8 claws per person. More or less, depending on appetite and other appetizers you may be serving! 

Our Stone Crab Claws are harvested from the crystal blue waters of the Florida Keys. 

To serve your Stone Crab Claws warm, we recommend heating them in the oven at 375° F for four minutes or until warm. However, our favorite way to enjoy Stone Crab Claws is by eating them cold over a bed of ice and dipped in cocktail sauce, similar to shrimp cocktail. The claws come pre-cooked, so once they’re thawed, you’re ready to go.

We recommend serving your Stone Crab Claws cold over a bed of ice with cocktail sauce. When cracking the shells, place a kichen towel over the claw and use a seafood mallet or the back of a spoon to get to the meat. (Pieces of shell will go flying – the kitchen towel helps keep everything contained.) 

Yes, very! Harvesting and processing Stone Crab Claws is one of the most sustainable methods out there – the claws are removed by hand, and the crab is returned to the ocean, where its claws regenerate within 18 months.

All of our products will stay good in the freezer for several months. However, for the best taste and texture, we recommend enjoying them within 2-3 months.
